Our Notes

Timeless loafer uppers meet contemporary chunky track soles, creating a striking silhouette.

The uppers are built the traditional moccasin way — a single piece of heavier vegan suede wrapped around the foot and stitched to shape, with the structural stitching visible along the apron. It's a suede with a rougher hand feel than we usually use, giving a traditional finish, detailed with contrasting brown vegan leather lacing threaded around the collar and cream stitching along the seams. The chunky track sole is then bonded underneath — old-school moccasin craft up top, modern presence below.

And they're not just beautiful shoes; their convenience makes them everyday shoes. The chunky TR track soles have excellent traction, with deep lugs that absorb shock as you walk and grip whatever's underfoot — and because of their depth, they're hard-wearing and will last a long time without wearing down. A 4cm heel with a 2cm platform at the toes gives you presence and lift while staying level enough to wear all day and over long distances in comfort.

Inside, deep and squishy stitched insoles made with memory foam and recycled content cushion every step, lined with tan vegan suede that keeps the fit comfortable and lets air circulate, keeping your feet cool and dry.

Ethics & Origin

This product is certified carbon-neutral and ethically made in Portugal under EU employment, discrimination and health & safety law. It's vegan from the uppers and linings to the glue. It's delivered to you through our carbon-neutral supply chain in plastic-free paper and cardboard packaging.

Upper: Portuguese vegan suede (100% PU)
Lining: Portuguese vegan suede lining (100% PU) with an onSteam® breathable microfibre footbed (100% polyester) – the soft vegan suede sits against your foot with a breathable texture that keeps feet fresh, while the temperature-regulating onSteam® underfoot wicks moisture away, with naturally antibacterial, odour-resisting and hypoallergenic properties
Insole: Cushioned layered insole – a soft memory foam top layer over a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU) cut to fit the shoe
Outsole: Chunky lugged TR track sole – deep tread for solid grip underfoot, with the bold, stacked look that defines the style
Laces: Thick vegan suede lace (100% PU) – a decorative tie threaded around the collar

Construction & Features

Shank: Steel shank for stability and support through the arch
Construction: Mounted (cemented) construction – the upper is lasted to shape and the outsole bonded directly underneath. The most widely used construction method in footwear, it gives a clean, flexible build, though the outsole isn't easily resoled
Water Resistance: Not water-resistant – vegan suede will soak through in rain, though it won't mark or spoil when wet. Best kept for dry days, and treat with a waterproofing spray if you want some protection.

Care Guide

Clean: For marks and stubborn stains, use warm soapy water with a cloth or soft brush, working gently over the surface. Towel dry afterwards.Brush: Once fully dry, run a suede brush over the uppers to lift the nap back up and restore the soft, even texture. Brushing in one direction gives the most consistent finish.Drying: Always let your footwear dry naturally, away from direct heat sources like radiators, as too much heat can stiffen or damage the suede. Stuff with paper or a shoe tree to help hold the shape while drying, and allow a day or two for the insides to dry fully before wearing again.Deodorising: Don't let your footwear stay damp between wears, as this creates an environment where microbes can develop and cause smells. If a smell does develop, dry the footwear thoroughly and use a footwear deodoriser until it clears. In extreme cases you can wash the insides out with warm soapy water, then dry fully and apply the deodoriser again.Waterproofing (optional): If you'd like some added protection, you can treat the suede with a waterproofing spray every 2–3 months depending on use — most standard sprays work fine on vegan suede. This is optional, and bear in mind vegan suede is naturally an open-textured material that isn't designed to be water-resistant.

Fit and comfort notes:

Width and volume: our footwear is designed with a slightly wider D width fitting, offering more width and volume than most brands.
Materials: we use high quality vegan leather and suede. These materials are stable and won't stretch out significantly over time, so we recommend sizing up for comfort.
The perfect fit: you don't want the shoes to pinch your feet. You should have wiggle room for your toes and no rub points.
Feel: in most cases you'll find our footwear is comfy straight out of the box. Depending on the style or your foot shape, it can sometimes take a few wears for the uppers to soften and mould to your feet.

How to take your foot length measurement

Stand on a hard surface with your heel against a wall.
Measure your foot from the heel (the wall) to the longest point of your toes.
Use this number to find your size in the chart above.

It is helpful to measure both feet, as one foot is often slightly larger than the other. Always choose the size that accommodates your longest foot.
