The Continental 3.5cm Belt is cut in Italian vegan nubuck (100% polyurethane), soft under the hand with a fine even nap, so it carries a matt surface where a smooth belt gives you shine and it sits differently against a jacket for it. The buckle is a squared frame in polished silver, bright against the nap, and there's a real weight to it in the hand. At 3.5cm the strap has the width to work with denim and chinos and enough restraint to go under tailoring, and the end is tapered so it lies flat through the keeper.
The strap is made from two pieces glued and then stitched together to form a strap that's thick, durable and flexible, with the vegan nubuck facing out over our signature bio-based vegan leather at the back. The edges are skived down before they're closed, so the strap tapers at the sides rather than sitting square, and the strap and keeper are double-stitched along their length.
