Hooded Button Up Knitted Cardigan

A hooded cable cardigan is the easy-going end of the knitwear rack — the warmth and texture of a cable knit with the slouch of a hoodie, the kind you pull on over a tee and live in through the colder months. Ours is a soft tan with an all-over cable and diamond pattern, cut long and relaxed with a generous hood, ribbed cuffs and hem, two patch pockets and a button front.

It's knitted in Italy from a blend of 40% Better Cotton Initiative cotton and 60% recycled content — a mix of offcuts from weaving and knitting mills, post-consumer clothing, and recycled plastic bottles, all spun back into yarn rather than thrown out. It closes on five matt-finish buttons made from recycled compressed paper, with the hood knitted in a mix of weave and rib for a bit of structure.

Tan is one of the easy neutrals — it lifts against denim, warms up with browns and greys, and keeps things soft against black. Wear it open over a tee with wide jeans and trainers, or buttoned up with the hood on the cold days. It's roomy and relaxed, the kind of knit you throw on at the weekend and don't want to take off.
