Introducing our Vegan Suede Loafers: cruelty-free, timeless style and comfort.

These are real moccasins, made the traditional way in Portugal. A single piece of rich mocha vegan suede is wrapped around the foot and stitched to form the shoe, with the flexible rubber pebble outsole stitched on underneath — you can see the stitching running right around the sole's edge, because it's the construction itself, not decoration. It's what gives a true moccasin its character: the shoe flexes with every step, moulds to your foot over time, and ends up fitting like it was made for you.

The vegan suede has a textured, rough hand feel, detailed with matching mocha vegan suede lacing threaded around the collar — the classic driving moc tie — and artisanal stitching along the apron front and side seams. The U-shaped toe gives a classic profile with room to move your toes, and the shoe sits almost flat to the ground on its rubber pebble sole, the way a driving moc should.

Inside, the vegan suede lining keeps things comfortable and breathable, over deep, squishy insoles made with memory foam and recycled content. Perfect for the warmer months — summer weddings, outdoor soirées, casual strolls in the park — the breathable design keeps your feet comfortable even in the heat. And they're not just a slip-on for going out: they make an ideal go-to slipper for home and garden too.

This product is certified carbon-neutral and ethically made in Portugal under EU employment, discrimination and health & safety law. It's vegan from the uppers and linings to the glue. It's delivered to you through our carbon-neutral supply chain in plastic-free paper and cardboard packaging.

Lining: Portuguese vegan suede (100% PU) – soft and comfortable against the foot, with a breathable suede texture that helps keep feet fresh
Insole: Cushioned layered insole – a soft memory foam top layer over a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU) cut to fit the shoe
Outsole: Rubber pebble outsole – the classic driving moc sole, flexible and grippy
Laces: Thick vegan suede lace (100% PU) – a decorative tie threaded around the collar, the classic driving moc detail

Construction & Features

Shank: No shank – a soft, flexible build that moves with your feet
Construction: True moccasin (tubular) construction – a single piece of soft vegan suede is wrapped around the foot and stitched to form the shoe, with the sole stitched directly inside. One continuous layer between foot and ground, so it flexes naturally and moulds to your foot for a glove-like fit
Water Resistance: Not water-resistant – vegan suede will soak through in rain, though it won't mark or spoil when wet. Best kept for dry days, and treat with a waterproofing spray if you want some protection.

Care Guide

Clean: For marks and stubborn stains, use warm soapy water with a cloth or soft brush, working gently over the surface. Towel dry afterwards.Brush: Once fully dry, run a suede brush over the uppers to lift the nap back up and restore the soft, even texture. Brushing in one direction gives the most consistent finish.Drying: Always let your footwear dry naturally, away from direct heat sources like radiators, as too much heat can stiffen or damage the suede. Stuff with paper or a shoe tree to help hold the shape while drying, and allow a day or two for the insides to dry fully before wearing again.Deodorising: Don't let your footwear stay damp between wears, as this creates an environment where microbes can develop and cause smells. If a smell does develop, dry the footwear thoroughly and use a footwear deodoriser until it clears. In extreme cases you can wash the insides out with warm soapy water, then dry fully and apply the deodoriser again.Waterproofing (optional): If you'd like some added protection, you can treat the suede with a waterproofing spray every 2–3 months depending on use — most standard sprays work fine on vegan suede. This is optional, and bear in mind vegan suede is naturally an open-textured material that isn't designed to be water-resistant.

Fit and comfort notes:

Width and volume: our footwear is designed with a slightly wider D width fitting, offering more width and volume than most brands.
Materials: we use high quality vegan leather and suede. These materials are stable and won't stretch out significantly over time, so we recommend sizing up for comfort.
The perfect fit: you don't want the shoes to pinch your feet. You should have wiggle room for your toes and no rub points.
Feel: in most cases you'll find our footwear is comfy straight out of the box. Depending on the style or your foot shape, it can sometimes take a few wears for the uppers to soften and mould to your feet.

How to take your foot length measurement

Stand on a hard surface with your heel against a wall.
Measure your foot from the heel (the wall) to the longest point of your toes.
Use this number to find your size in the chart above.

It is helpful to measure both feet, as one foot is often slightly larger than the other. Always choose the size that accommodates your longest foot.
