Stay warm through winter in our insulated Vegan Wool Hooded Coat — the finish of a tailored wool coat with a proper hood for when the weather turns. It's black, cut mid-length and easy with a big hood and a clean zip front, tailored in Italy from vegan wool: a 100% cotton cloth grown to Greenpeace DETOX and Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certified standards, with the weight and matt finish of a proper winter overcoat.
Behind the cloth sits a 60g thermal lining in 100% recycled polyester to keep the warmth in, and the loose cut leaves room to layer over a chunky knit. The oversized hood pulls up against the wind and rain, and an Italian aluminium zip fastens right up over the chin. Two deep slip pockets with press-stud flaps keep your hands and essentials secure, and a smooth viscose lining lets it slip on and off over knitwear.
Wear it as the coat you reach for when the forecast's grim. Over jeans and boots with a hoodie or knit underneath, or over tailored trousers when you need it smarter — hood up when it turns. Black takes everything, so let it be the warm outer layer and build whatever you like beneath it.

- Showerproof rather than waterproof. The dense cotton-blend face will hold off light rain for a short while, but it soaks through in sustained or heavy wet and takes time to dry. Best with an umbrella in proper rain

Writing this review to perhaps help others. This coat runs huge - fit seems to be a little bit squirrely in general. I am a size 40 coat in the US - according to the chart, would be a large. I had to exchange it for a small. The large was comically big. For reference, I am 6'1 and about 160 lbs. In a large, I resembled a toddler wearing his father's coat.
All that said, I do like the style and the material and glad I finally got the right size. Thank you to WVS for being accommodating and helpful with an exchange.
